More today than ever before, diagnostic wax ups are becoming a heavily relied-on tool as part of the cosmetic restoration protocol. Another advantage of the diagnostic wax up is that SmileTECH Temps can be fabricated from the wax up, either in the lab by our technologists or by the dental office.  In the lab we use heat or cold cured acrylic resin whereas in the dental office a putty reinforced light body impression is taken directly from the diagnostic wax up which is supplied by the lab and used with conventional syringe office temp material.  This allows the patient to wear a temp of the finished product eliminating any surprises in the final result.

We also provide you with an incisal guide matrix also made of putty and taken from the diagnostic to assist the dentist in his final preparations and ensure adequate reduction has been made.
